Hello bookworms. Happy Saturday! So I was initially going to come on here this weekend to bring you a book review, and there’s a chance I’ll still get time to do that. However, Something BIG happened yesterday in the book community and I had to come on here and just talk about it.
As you know, if you love a good romance novel, one of all of our favorites, Gabriel’s Inferno by Sylvain Reynard, is now coming to our screen thanks to the hard work and dedication of the team at Passionflix. Not a single detail of the fabulous book will be left out so we will get the movie in three parts (I believe) averaging about 2 hours each.
Part one of Gabriel’s Inferno debuts at the end of this month – May 29th. If you have not read these wonderful books yet, please do. This has been one of my favorite romance series since soon after I really got into the romance genre and it’s remained at the top of my list after all these years. Do yourselves a favor and please meet professor Gabriel Emerson and his beloved Julianne Mitchell. You can check out my review of books 1-3 here and the newly released book 4 here. Enjoy every minute!
Enigmatic and sexy, Professor Gabriel Emerson is a well respected Dante specialist by day, but by night he devotes himself to an uninhibited life of pleasure. He uses his notorious good looks and sophisticated charm to gratify his every whim, but is secretly tortured by his dark past and consumed by the profound belief that he is beyond all hope of redemption.
When the sweet and innocent Julia Mitchell enrolls as his graduate student, his attraction and mysterious connection to her not only jeopardizes his career, but sends him on a journey in which his past and his present collide.
An intriguing and sinful exploration of seduction, forbidden love and redemption, “Gabriel’s Inferno” is a captivating and wildly passionate tale of one man’s escape from his own personal hell as he tries to earn the impossible…forgiveness and love.
For now, I’m going to leave you with the trailer that I can’t stop watching. The countdown is on until the premiere on May 29th. Until next time, happy reading!
