Hey there, bookworms! It’s been a bit of a hectic weekend, but a good one. I’ve also been a smidge under the weather, so I’ve been doing more sleeping and slacking than reading. Alas, Monday is upon us already (gross, right?), but I’m bringing you yet another review AND a teaser all in one! I finished Four Letter Word by J. Daniels yesterday, and I’m so glad to tell you what I thought!

If you know me, you know I’ve read and reviewed pretty much everything J. Daniels has written, and I’m convinced she just can’t write a bad romance, or terrible book. I’m obviously not complaining, because I’m completely obsessed with this story.. as I am with all of her other works!

This book was such a perfect mix of fun, heartbreak, and romance. I was lucky enough to receive an ARC, and while that’s becoming a bit of a regular thing, I’m still overwhelmed with happiness whenever an author thinks of me and my blog space enough to let me read their stuff ahead of the release date. Four Letter Word was no exception!

I’m obsessed with Brian Savage. What a stunningly gorgeous man inside and out. He and Sydney have both had their fair share of heartbreak, so it was pure fate that they wound up talking one night, and the way they crossed paths made me chuckle.

Trouble and Wild.

I love, love, loved the concept of this story. I was so intrigued with how the characters met, and how the chemistry was just bursting at the seams. It was such a thrill and made for plenty of build-up and tension.

Of course, the past has a way of haunting you when you’re completely blissful and on cloud nine. Needless to say, I lost hours of sleep in order to get the answers I was so desperately seeking regarding their future.

Now that it’s over, I’m sad I’ve closed the book on these two, but I hope to hear more from them in the near future. Another bravo and job well done on a tragic but beautiful couple!
