Outlander Box

Hello, bibliophiles and happy Sunday! I hope you’re all comfy cozy with a pile of reads next to you. How dreamy!

So, yesterday, I finally received some bookish mail I’ve been waiting on for quite some time, and I was NOT disappointed! Everyone who knows me knows I’m a massive Outlander fan. I’ve read all eight books written by the phenomenal Diana Gabaldon, and I’m also enchanted by the show on Starz! Naturally, I had to do some shopping and wound up getting some goodies in preparation for season two.

I follow two accounts on Instagram, thebookishbox and appraising pages, who were kindly offering up an Outlander themed gift box. If you’re interested in any sort of literary gifts, these are the shops to visit! You can either subscribe to receive a box of bookish goodies every month, or you can purchase a one-time box of your choice. You can head over to Appraising Pages and take a look around.

Any who! I received my Outlander box yesterday, and I’m thrilled to share my goodies with you! The items inside are really cute and I’m over the moon about every single one of them!

First, there’s the shirt, which I’m in love with and wore as soon as I took it out of the box. The shirt came from Appraising Pages and has one of the best Jamie Fraser quotes on it, “I canna possess your soul without losing my own”.

The second item I pulled was the coffee mug by Coffee, Reading, Writing. It’s adorable, and, needless to say, I’ve had probably 3-4 cups of joe out of the thing since it’s been in my possession. To Lallybroch!

I also received every bibliophile’s best friend, the book mark, and this is a pretty one! It’s a water color “Sassenach” mark by Lexy Olivia. As much as I want to carry it in my books, I also have a tendency to let them slip out of my pages without even noticing until it’s too late to find my place. For now, I have it proudly displayed on my bedroom mirror.

Who doesn’t love candles? When they’re Outlander themed, they’re even more perfect. This little Craig Na Dun tin comes from Novelly Yours and smells of flowers, firewood, and heather. I know Pop Vinyl Jamie will enjoy the fragrance!

Lastly, is the thistle necklace from Eliza Jane K Jewelry which is simple yet stunning. I can’t wait to wear this one and rock my Outlander pride!

I’m absolutely in love and enchanted by my treats. I can’t wait to enjoy every single one of them and highly encourage all of you to go check out these wonderful shops and purchase some literary goodies of your own! Until next time, happy reading! xx
