Good afternoon, bibliophiles! As promised, I have another review for you. I believe I’m coming down with a bit of a cold, so I might be laying low for a few days, but I wanted to bring my latest book to you before I rested. Today, I’m talking about How Not To Fall by Emily Foster.
This story was a complete and total surprise. I added it to my TBR when it popped up in my Goodreads feed, and then while I was browsing around B&N the other night, there it was on the shelf. I grabbed a copy and never looked back, and man, as I thrilled that I did! I had never read anything by this author, so I was in uncharted territory.
How Not To Fall is one of the sexiest books I’ve picked up to date. Holy Moses. Charles and Annie are on fire. Who knew medical science geeks could be so seductive??? Annie is quirky but brilliant, and Charles is a medical prodigy with a charming British accent. When they spend time together in a lab, things can’t go anywhere but to the next level.
When Annie proposes them becoming lovers during her last month in Indiana, Charles is taken aback, but eventually takes her up on her offer. Once they begin their affair, they can’t seem to keep their hands off of each other, quite literally.
I can’t say much more without giving a good chunk of this book away, so I’m going to keep this one short and sweet. All I can say is that I’m thoroughly obsessed.
I couldn’t help but binge on every minute with these two, and of course, there’s a cliffhanger, so I’m gonna need book two asap!
My Final Rating: five out of five stars
